HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT

MIDCORE SECURITY & FACILITY MANAGEMENT provides security guarding, key holding, and intruder alarm response services to residential and business premises. The top management of MIDCORE SECURITY & FACILITY MANAGEMENT is committed to providing adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities in accordance with Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974. This commitment includes consulting with employees on matters affecting their health and safety in the workplace.

Where Facility Management related activities are undertaken, these are limited in scope and are risk assessed prior to commencement. MIDCORE SECURITY & FACILITY MANAGEMENT ensures that any such activities are managed safely through suitable risk assessments, method statements, and competent personnel, and where required, through the use of approved contractors.

MIDCORE SECURITY & FACILITY MANAGEMENT ensures the safe handling and use of substances and provides adequate information, instruction, training, and supervision for all employees. We are committed to ensuring that all employees are competent to carry out their duties and receive appropriate training to do so safely.

As an employer, MIDCORE SECURITY & FACILITY MANAGEMENT understands its responsibility to report certain serious workplace accidents, occupational diseases, and specified dangerous occurrences (near misses) in accordance with RIDDOR – the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013. We are committed to preventing accidents and cases of work-related ill health and to maintaining safe and healthy working conditions.

Therefore, what we provide, so far, is reasonably practicable.

  4. Adequate training, instruction, information and supervision

Management at MIDCORE SECURITY & FACILITY MANAGEMENT is committed to ensuring, so far as is reasonably practicable, that our operations do not adversely affect the health and safety of people who are not our employees, including visitors and contractors.

Where we provide articles, substances, or install any plant or equipment for use at work, we recognise our duty to ensure the health and safety of those who use them and to provide all necessary information to support safe use.
